Torn between
Expectation and
Longing
Eagle stripped bare
Feathers flying
Distant cries
Become more distant
Still
Back turned on
Haunting hopes
Ghosts of dreams
Sweet land of
Cliff and sea
Seek jagged embrace
Requirement slain by
Overpowering desire
To breathe
Freedom only promised
Enslaves.
Here there is no
Battle cry
Here only truth find
In endless questions
And time
