Too Young, Too Strong Poem by Alisha Charles

Too Young, Too Strong

Rating: 3.5

They say I'm too young
To be feeling this way
To be thinking so wisely
The same song is sung
They say my feelings are too strong
At my age it's wrong
But I know that I love you
And you love me too

I'm way too young
Too be planning my wedding
To be thinking of marriage
I should have some fun
My feelings are too strong
They say it's not love
That I'm imagining stuff
But you're my witness to prove them wrong

I'm not too young
My feelings aren't too strong
It's a natural feeling
For a broken heart that's healing

Great rhyming, as you write from your heart, with lovely lines. I really enjoyed this beautiful write, well done Alisha!

If you were born in 2002, you are indeed too young. Thirteen may be physically mature for some girls, but neither boys nor girls are emotionally ready for love at that age. Give yourself a few more years. Stay in school. Get a good education. You will never be sorry you waited.
