Too Late To View The Truth Poem by Donnie Ryles

Too Late To View The Truth

Sometimes we fail to realize
The riches we truly do possess
We neglect them in our passion
Trying too hard to impress
The things which have real value
In an instant can be lost
When left with guilt and memory
Only then do we count cost
Too late to view the truth
Wealth will not mean that much
For money is not used
To buy a loved ones touch
