Tonight The Nightest Night Poem by Ali Ashjaee

Tonight The Nightest Night

The sallow moon creeps up the sorrow land
In crowdness of mean clouds
Prowling to prey poor stars
A wolf growls, the hooting owls, morrow hand
Never comes, out these scars

A gust of horror fills the heart of forest
The saplings lose their leaves
No firm feels, but far flees
Boldness, courage, bravery from our breast
All desire zephyr breeze

The sullen moon sunk, the darkness so drank
Cripples the light, crumples our might
Black the white, crack the right
The evils’ armies arise, the spears clank
Tonight the nightest night

The trumpet of tyranny triumphs the town
Beasts bang the dreadful drum
A fatal fate, grim n glum
No sense of destiny, no sign of crown
Doomed us to play this dram

All in daze, the fall of dazzled dyes
Palatial plateau plunge
Dusty dank dingy dark dunge
The defenseless cries, the ruthless sword plies
Ghastly gross, grimy grunge
