An Ode to Madness
Once upon a time in Heaven
Close to a river; safe, sound, and serene
Beneath a bower, suddenly supervene
A serpentine figurine like a raven, a compulsory dream
So Aweful, a moment of uncanny never seen
Soon enough idleness of my soul decline
A tapestry of colors retained
Images from past and present circuline
Unity of body and soul attained
What a marriage, a Dionysian spirit so divine
A new Heaven and Earth, a Hall of Fame
Prometheus, Doctor Faustus, Manfred, all aflame
An apocalyptic vision incredibly insane
Hail Faust, Master of Madness, to reclaim
This suffering sane from a life so mundane
What a Joy enlivens my soul
An eternal orbiting ‘round the Core
The Eye of Master is watching my roll
Fire, Air, Water, Earth are a whole
An infusion of opposing forces evermore
Imprints my heart with a Feminine foil
An arcane moment of metamorphosis, untold!
Logic flees, Chaos abides, Binaries recoil
A Divine Dance, no docile could ever despoil
This magic of Madness, Behold!
