Tonight Poem by Rebecca Roberts

Tonight

When the world is ours

We can flee through the fields

With the blind and the healed 'cause it's our right

It's our time

We can fly through the windmills

And dine over the hills because it's alright

It's our time

Tonight

We will dance

Tonight

We will fly

Tonight

We will make a chance

Tonight

We will die

Bring the birth of the newbies

Bring the sound of the rain

Bring the sight of the babies

No more crying in pain

Bring the light of the moon

Bring the fright of the Man

Bring the end of all doom

Bring the meaning of 'I can'

'I can' when the world is ours

Tonight

We will burn

Tonight

We will shine

Tonight

Black will be white

Tonight

Everything will be fine

Tonight
