Kneeling over growth
'A few moments' I say,
'It's a necessary chore.'
And as I state my oath
The leaves begin to sway
I can't help but adore
The water's placing jewels
On each and every crease,
Refreshments for the ant.
Us gardeners are fools
But know there's hidden peace
In a tomato plant.
