Today's Question, January 20,2016

Which is most depressing today?
The stock market
The weather
The election
The intellect of the Idaho electorate
(Or lack thereof)
My arthritis
Or my not having milk for my coffee?

Of course, that is in America
If we add in
Taliban idiots murdering children in Pakistan
Syria altogether
Desperate refugees
Nuclear Kim and starving Koreans
And Chinese civil rights advocates jailed
One might wish to avoid seeing the news.

Still, I guess things don't look
Quite as bad now as when I was born
Towards the end of the Great Depression
And on the cusp of World War Two.

But I didn't have arthritis then.
