Grateful and close on one level
Disappointed elsewhere
Some living in misery
Others without a care
Just being truthful
After all
Please on me
Don't let winds stall
For a southern breeze
Is quite welcome these days
Especially those coming
From the north
Soon to be quite amazed
Love's transformation
Will hit me again
Little by little
We defeat our sins.
I know God for you time
Goes quite rapidly
But how I pray
Our perspective you'd see
See down here it moves slower
And there's pain & despair
Even if not touched directly
Hurts to know its still there
To live loving all
Creates more than duality
But looking forward
To immortality
Not just for me
But for my fellowman
So please, oh please God
Won't you open your hand
Open it to all
Yes the oppressed and the weak
Soon you'll see
We all will be meek.
So please look to the future
From there take Your stand.
From there judge us all
Please oh, please God
Let Your tent cover man.
