Today Poem by Rebeckah Schroeder

Today was just a normal day,
I woke up tired,
I woke up with pain,
I cant explain it all,
but it felt all the same.

The hours in between,
morning and night,
go bye so fast,
that i cant even stop to see
the sunlight

My thoughts keep me awake,
my tears put me to sleep,
my dreams wake me up,
and I can't fall back to sleep.

I wake up the next morning,
with all the thoughts again,
but I can only see the day that lies ahead.
