Thinking of you brings me hope for
What is yet to come for both of us.
I think about what stirs your soul -
I think about what beauties you look at,
Your secrets are yet to be known.
I often wonder what you are missing
From this life we live together. You
Could be many things and do so much
More with someone different from me.
You tell me, 'no' but I know what is true.
You protect me from everything, but you
Need to let me do my part for you.
I want to give you so much in this life -
I want to give you my love that you
Will accept, not because you think you
Have to, but because you want to.

Forever hopeful I am for us -
I have always wanted you with a
Loving heart, mind, body, and soul.
