'' To Those Who Are Living '' Poem by Bri Mar

'' To Those Who Are Living ''

Do pray tell,
If someone fell,
Would you up and walk away,
Would you excel,
Or just dispel,
By saying, they'll be okay.

Give assistance,
Or show resistance,
A simple answer, yes or no,
Go the distance,
With dogged persistence,
Or say, I'll have to go.

Would you expect,
To be shown respect,
If the fallen one was you,
Would you connect,
Saying please protect,
Your answer? it must be true.

Turn that cheek,
Because they're weak,
Or purely through mistrust,
The help they seek,
Is not mystique,
They need it, it's truly a must.

If they're ill,
Lying there still,
As above them people hover,
What's your drill?
Do you show will?
Or would you, just step over.

How we are defined,
Is, we are humankind,
Most are caring and very forgiving,
Our frame of mind,
Is we're all designed,
To bring hope,

If someone fell down we should help each other and motivate life. We should have good qualities within us. This is a brilliant poem excellently penned.
