To This Man Poem by Mae Ethan

To This Man

To this fine man I succumb
For in me, he ignited a bomb
Ready to explode anytime soon
Flying high in the sky like a balloon.

To this one man I do concede
I can't argue, I can't fight, it is a defeat
With a shy smile I will always answer
If at all a question in me he tenders

To this man I so honestly admire
For him I could even walk on wire
Seeing his smile just gives me the thrills
And I wouldn't mind paying his bills!

To this man I deeply, sincerely love
To this man I know I can never have
Of thee, there is only one request I ask
Just a kiss on the lips and the memory will last.
