We’re born here and so we know,
That man is meant to die,
We have the fear but try not to show,
Our fear of death but I
Only think of what life after death might be,
Did I fulfill my task?
What answers would I answer thee?
My lord, if I be questions asked?
You formed my heart, bones and skull,
Then perfected it and gave myself to me,
You let me live and gave me free will,
To see how grateful I can be
Then if I can’t be grateful to thee,
Who’d be more unjust than I’d be?
This is not a message to humanity,
But to the lovely myself that god gave me
