To The Last Poem by Göran Gustafsson

To The Last

Rating: 5.0

I see the beauty in the mornin' dew
I see the beauty in the rainbow's hue
And in the colours of the deep blue skies
I see the beauty of my true love’s eyes
When I take her hand in mine through bitter strife
And we pass along the perils of life
But only if she doesn't hold me fast
Then I'll stay and hold her to the last

I hear the sound of softly fallin' rain
I hear the sound of silent pain
And in the tune from a distant lonely bird
I hear a song with my true love's word
When I take her hand in mine through bitter strife
And we pass along the perils of life
But only if she doesn’t hold me fast
Then I'll stay and hold her to the last

I feel the rays of the warming sun
I feel the flow of the rivers run
And like the tickle from a grain of sand
I feel the touch of my true love's hand
When I take her hand in mine through bitter strife
And we pass along the perils of life
But only if she doesn't hold me fast
Then I'll stay and hold her to the last

I love the flow of your words. It is very lovely and convincing, that i wanted to sing.I can now feel the music here in my heart and my soul. This is soothing my nerves, it is simply great. Wish you can hear the music now that's inside my very thought.Your imagery is wonderful.I can see the beauty inside you. This is a nice treat for me this early morning here in our place. Shalom.. Hugs, Meggie
