To The Lady Who Wears Black Poem by Austin Warwick

To The Lady Who Wears Black

To the lady who wears black,
I'm sorry your husband had a heart attack.
You loved him so, picked flowers with him in the spring.
You two would laugh and sing.
As we stand here today.
to bury a man who lived out his golden age.
To the lady who is crying,
Your husband is in heaven, smiling.
