To Surrender To Love Poem by Ian Allskog

To Surrender To Love

Rating: 4.5

What if thoes lips could make me happy in ways that would spin my mind a hundred times around this universe
The scent and touch of her make me weak as a snowflake falling down from the sky a cold winter night
And if holding her would make me complete

Prehaps make me understand why I never felt at home anywhere else
To surrender into a pair of loving arms
With no regrets or fears of what tomorrow might bring

To trust that the love I feel is acceptable and unbreakable
Honestly..
If so.. I put my sword down
And kneel before you my love
For I wouldnt want anyone more than I want you

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I wrote this one to a dear girl, that I havent yet built up the curage to meet. She lives in England and im from Sweden. This year I decided to meet her, and so I feelt like writing her this one.

Feeling can be strong even if you havent meet the person yet, i know this from experience. Anyone who says diffrently is not being openminded enough.

Beautiful romantic train of thoughts, well articulated and nicely penned from inner recesses of the heart. A lovely poem indeed. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
