To Sleep Poem by Smoky Hoss

To Sleep

To sleep or to die
Why even try
Only to awake, and find
You're out of your world, or
Out of your mind...

unless i'm wrong, smoky, i think you've had hamlet's speech in mind. his has questions. macbeth's " tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow" soliloquy is, like much of ecclesiastes, an eloquent embodiment of nihilism. for me there is no one more trustworthy than jesus—he could tell it like it is, call hypocrites snakes and herod, the political leader, a " fox, " but also inspire hope like no one before or since. keep the faith. -glen

We do not know why do we try to sleep of die but we cooperate with nature and its laws. This is a very brilliant poem shared.
