I know not what to write or say
Perhaps to quick to share my affection
Understanding that one
One only has a few moments in which to share
Something special
Moments at which he can give his heart
Without regret
I have offered mine to you
Knowing full well
That what we have shared may be short lived
In my life I have shared my heart with few
And guarded my heart against many
But I am left with an overwhelming desire for you
I have given to you
The gift of my heart
As you have become special to me
My you always cherish this gift
