To Pray Today Poem by Ima Ryma

Tomorrow is a day I fear,
Yesterday, a day I resent.
These are my feelings today, here,
A lot of wasted time is spent.
Yes, I have regrets of my past,
And my future does worry me.
Regrets and worries get amassed.
I'm burdened overwhelmingly.
As I am in the present tense,
I need to take some now time out.
I know this is just common sense
To find the faith, to lose the doubt.

So it is now that I do pray
That I do live my best today.
