To My Faraway Soulmate... Who Doesn't Know It Yet
We've never met before, I know;
I feel I know you just the same.
Your recent posts all seem to show
you will resume the dating game.
You've lost your wife; I've lost my man;
we both feel lonely all the time.
Why not make music while we can?
Let's share some coconuts and lime.
I know you live quite far away,
but pleasant thoughts can trim the miles.
When you get here, then we can play
and turn our weary frowns to smiles.
We should be able to make it work,
if anybody can.
I know you need a woman,
and you know I need a man.
