To Make The Most Amongst The Worst Poem by Will Gibbs

To Make The Most Amongst The Worst

To make the most amongst the worst
To be the best with all the least.
To be yourself a lie retold.
The truth a secret held down cold.
You ask yourself the reasons why.
The answers fail to meet the mark,
For truth and reason don’t make right.
What is truth if based on lies,
And lies are truth from the other side.
You ask yourself for what to be,
The answers for sure shall not succeed.
You need to be what people expect,
Your world a lie to gain respect.
But be yourself, a hard aspect,
Mould and Shaped society makes,
A person yet they dream for more.
To cry aloud for what you are,
For what you are you surely know.
No one can touch you, judge you
Undermine, exploit or steal you.
You are yourself through thick and thin,
You are yourself without, within.
Round and about you are as one,
A question answered from deep in soul.
Be what you like, your dreams, your moral,
Just fly and soar don’t ever fall!
