To his father
He came to the class with a flourish,
He is the Professor I cherish,
Now, let me tell you what I notice.
I notice the way he moves,
The way he speaks,
The way he teaches,
And the way he always looked at us.
Please my friend, do not depart.
If tomorrow starts without you,
and you are not there to teach,
We students in the faculty will lose hope,
We will suffer the pain and find it hard to cope.
