To Forget- To Have Hope Wisdom In Old Age

To forget one is going to die
To forget one is old
To forget one already has many ailments
To forget the cosmos and its eventual end
To forget all discouraging thoughts
And worries and fears
To forget the negative in all its forms

To have hope
To think of people and things
That make one happy
To look forward to whatever pleasures one has
To smile to laugh
To feel grateful one has so much
To be eager to greet and meet others
To find joy in life's small pleasures
And be happy and grateful
Just to be still alive.
