To Bloom Poem by Rifhan Rasuli

To Bloom

I’m casting a shadow
away, from your face
because I refuse to follow
those fading footsteps.

The door that I open
leads to a narrow tunnel
that runs into the glorious night.

Your gloomy look
and the dark clouds
are slowly becoming one
in this helpless life.

It becomes part of the moment
that falls into our fragile self.

And we are dumbfounded
to find that destiny
has gone to a faraway place
where some smiles
bloom and perish.
