To Bathe In Acid Poem by Aaron Gotham

To Bathe In Acid

Breathe in the chemicals
And let the candles burn out.
Cleanse yourself in the pain of the water
And let the smoke streams from the wicks fill you with doubt.
To bathe in a pool of Acid; is to close your eyes and dream
Dream of a heaven, that only you can see.
To dream of the heaven
That told you to cease your ignorance,
Is like bathing in a pool of Acid,
Where the blood runs black and your heart breaks silence.
Breathing in what you,
And only you can cause,
Is not a heaven, and not worth the applause
You run off the air that would kill us all,
I can see it in your actions, you've turned into hell.
The Acid Bath has corroded your lungs,
But even worse, your own mind.
Please stop speaking of taking your own life,
Please stop speaking of life.
Please stop speaking.
Please.
This Acid Bath has taken you to somewhere I cannot reach you from.
It's too late for me to grab your hand and pull you out.
I can still smell the linger of your bathing corrupting our home.
Its best to start washing your face, your acid bath is almost up.
