Tired Poem by Ray Hansell

Tired

I'm sitting here so tired
I can hardly stay awake
I wish there was a chance
A short nap I could take

Just to lay my head down
To get some shut eye
I know I could sleep
But I know I won't get to try

Because you see I'm working
So I must stay alert
Because if I fall off to sleep
I could slip off the chair and get hurt
