Tiny Spec Poem by David Harris

Tiny Spec

We are but a tiny spec
on an ocean
when you look at the universe
that surround us everywhere.
Some say of life on other planets
that they don't and never did exist.
Yet millions of people every year
encounter things in the sky and on land
which cannot be explained.

It is not an overnight phenomena,
but something that has been with for centuries.
Yet some believe we are the only ones
to inhabit a planet, but are we?
With millions of planets
inhabiting countless solar systems.
How can we be so sure?
