Timing Keeping Of A Madman Poem by Jacquelyn Burge

Timing Keeping Of A Madman

Rating: 3.5

Tick tock, tick tock,
The clock ticks and tocks,
The sands fall through the hourglass,
How much time do we have before we completely go mad?
No time, no time, never any time,
No time to think,
Only time to act,
Bad move, now the king is vulnerable,
Can you protect the king?
Tick tock, tick tock,
Late, always late, never any time,
Lost so lost, which way is the exit,
Or is the exit the entrance?
Is it day or night?
Where can I find help, or is help needed?
Tick tock, tick tock,
Sand falling faster and faster,
Where am I going, where did I come from?
Am I alive or am I dead?
Am I blind or is everything black?
Tick tock, tick tock,
Tick tock, tick tock,
Tick tock, tick tock,
Tick tock, tick tock,
ssssssssssssssssssss.......Boom!
