Times Reflection Poem by Justin Wiltermuth

Times Reflection

The glistening water at river's edge
My face but a shadow against the sky
Bright facades of clouds overhead
I put my hand out as if to pry
Cold waters flow like time itself
Each grasp with a memory gone
I see myself just like in a mirror
All this time simply can't be undone
Some reflections show the present
For me all I see is the hidden past
If only I could accept these memories
The future itself could be mine at last
