The time has come to get my life back on track
Time to look forward, I'm not going back.
Discarding awful memories, I'm glad
Away from people who treat me so bad.

It's time to stop and smell the roses
Stop to reflect and drop the poses
Can't see the need to distress any more
Find a job, clear the mind, open a new door.

Time to get real in this cold, wretched world
Rich stand aloof, banners unfurled.
Don't scorn them or ponder on this divide
Their singular purpose with money their pride.

So long since I've opened my heart to love
Surely there's someone sent from above
To live in serenity enjoying each day
Now is the time to find my new way!
