Time To Kill Poem by Amber Hartzog

Time To Kill

When you have time to kill
The world seems to stop
The thoughts that come inside
Make your stomach drop
Your blood runs cold
Your heart stands still
You try to scream
Against your will
Your voice fades away
Like nothing is wrong
No one can hear you
As it's been for so long
Reaching out you try to cope
But no one seems to care
The long sleeves in summer
What's hiding under there
The tears that soak your pillow
Stay silent day by day
Reaching out you try to cope
But life has faded away
