Time, Rest, Fear And Love. Poem by Robert Plese

Time, Rest, Fear And Love.

Time is a valuable thing to chase.
As valuable as the vacuum of outer-space.
Sucking wind, in a formula-1 race,
Full speed ahead.

Rest is a valuable thing to taste.
Margaretta-lime and a snug embrace.
To ease the rush to and from a place,
Heavy foot set on break.

Fear is a valuable thing to face.
Vulnerable kiss and visceral mace.
Bewildered looks from critical eyes,
Cruise control set on shake!

Love is a valuable thing to feel
Steer sure principled behind the wheel.
Healing touch and distracted gaze,
Air bags deployed!
