Our ship is sailing
The journey has been a hard one
And the harsh salty seas crashed against our hulls
The cold rains whipped the deck we ran to our chamber for shelter
And in tender embraces we felt we could stay afloat
But back on board the weather would not let up
And the thunder cracks and lightening drove through our sails
Ship wrecked and troubled
We could see land but on different islands
Swimming our different ways
We both now find shelter
Yearning at time for a raft or a bridge that might bring us together
But the truth be told we knew it had sailed
