Patio Epithanys Poem by Daniel Bowyer

Patio Epithanys

Looking at my reflection in the back door
The light hits my face and casts a shadow over my eyes
I want to cry! but no tears fill my eyes
But this feeling inside, wish this feeling would subside
Complete loneliness, and uncontrolable solitude
A pure sadness that runs through my questionable soul
No love today, nor none tomorrow I fear
Heard i'm loved but my senses sense its false
Troubled by my past, afraid of my future
Cornered by my emotion and the shadows closing in
Until my face is cloaked in darkness
