I need a time machine
so I can go back to the time when you were alone
lying on that cold room after the abandonment
and hold you, and kiss your lips
until the sun wakes the shining of your eyes
so I can gaze and immerse myself into them
all the while whispering unto your heart
'I will stand beside you, and let no harm befall upon you'
forever and again
I need a time machine
because I love you more than I could
but I cannot change the past,
as much as you wouldn't embrace the future
