Time Flies Poem by David Olughu

Time Flies

Blooming sun and rising flowers.
Mysteries to be uncovered.
First I'm drowned by the virgin morning air.
My tender skin is caressed by the dawn sun.
My enthusiasm is aroused.
My paw-sized footprints, following me as I lead the way.
Fueled by curiosity and driven by sight.
How come my pants(trousers) don't fit any more?
It's only been days, yet I'm already seventy.
It'll soon be time to drink of heaven's tea.
