Time Poem by GORDON BUTCHERS

Time

Rating: 5.0

Time it waits for no one
Not even me or you,
It rolls on by like a passing cloud
That rushes across a sky of blue.

We cannot stop the clock of time
That is forever ticking away,
From the very first breath we take
Until our final day.

All life has a reason
Everything has it's place,
There is no time for being down and troubled
For life is to precious to waste.

So the next time you feel down in the dumps
Because someone has made you feel small,
Turn the other cheek and make the most of what life has to offer
And live it to the full.

This poem is so so true. No one ever knows what they have until it's too late, when they've run out of time. A great poem.
