Time Poem by Anita Wisniewska

Time

The sky stretches brittle

Over glassy bird voices

Trickling between grey branches

Down

the

hillside.

Sunlight fizzes

Sifting through the petal curtain

Weaves it into leaves

Hard, dark and tough,

Shiny with dust,

as

Air thickens into summer.
