Time Poem by imogen brand

Time

Time is so odd
Yet
Time is against us

Have you ever read those stories?
With endings that makes you weep
Where the boy and girl that
Loves each other.
But the boy's death is close
As the grim reaper
Is waiting in the shadows of the dusk
For the boy's soul to his
The thoughts running throw his head

' Why do they have to die so young? '

The girl is crying her eyes out
As she plants a kiss
On the boy's cold, lifeless lips
Their eternal love is not shown
The only witness is death's grim face

Time is fate planned
Yet
Death is an illusion
That times it self can
Not commit

The next time you read
Such a story
You will remember
The forbidden love
That whispers through
The air of the mists of time
