Time Poem by Caitlin Lawson

Time Caitlin Lawson

The world falls down around us And the walls crumble and fall The Time moves ever onwards Unaware of what has called

The destruction of the land Is there for all to see The Time moves ever onwards Unaware of what can’t be

The light begins to fade As the smoke blocks out the sun The Time moves ever onwards Unaware of what has come

Silence always comes with us Along with sorrow and pain The Time moves ever onwards Unaware of it again

But out of the flames new life is born And the birds once again sing The Time goes ever onwards Pleased at what it brings.
