Time Poem by Tobbie WhiteBird Crowe

Time

Time oh time
Where did you go.
I don't know how to hold you,
Or how to let go.

The stream swiftly passes
It's ripples disappear,
My life is but a pebble
That seems so scarcely real

The ocean is the ending,
The depths are never seen.
This lonely little pebble
For the sea rolls endlessly.

Time gives off no meaning,
The beach is never seen.
Someday all my pebbles
Will be polished by the sea.

Time goes on forever,
As the bottom of the sea.
And only God and darkness
Know freedom in the end.
