Till When Will The Calmness Hold Poem by Ayman Arif

Till When Will The Calmness Hold

Rating: 5.0

Calmness has ensued in my soul
Perhaps I've not commited a foul
This shall remain forta time
Before i commit another crime
To drag me down that gaping hole
That made my mind take a heavy toll
But I must appreciate the light of the sun
And not spend my time in mourn
I must appreciate the breeze
And gather the courage to seize
This is my time
Please stick with me unlike that slime
That slime of unwanted satisfaction
Those cruel false fascination
Make my senses pure and original
And make this feeling final
Don't take to that gaping hole
For it will make my soul to take a heavy toll

Piece of elegance with rendition of words to utmost justice. An insightful poem embellished in poetic rhyme and rhythm, focussed and factual. Thanks for sharing Ayman and welcome to Poemhunter.
