Tiger Poem by Della Perry

Tiger

The tiger crouches, hiding
In the long, dry
Grass, waiting for its prey to
Eventually capture it, eat it, before
Resting in the sweltering midday heat.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
year 3 Acrostic poems I wrote for use in the classroom. I made a book including riddles, acrostics, kennings, alliteration, similes, haikus, short poems, nonsense, repeating, tankas, senyru, limericks and anagrams for the children, then we added the kids work into it too. I will inspire those who will write better than me.
