Ticketmaster Poem by Paula Glynn

Ticketmaster

'Free tickets to hell! '
'Free tickets to hell! '
He shouts in quick succession

A man with a black top hat
And freshly polished loafers
And an odd face never to be forgotten

A circus of adults and children
Milling about some strange place
Not yet knowing smiles to be erased

With all the amazing sights
You can see and continually hear
No day or night boring here

From sights of Jurassic Park
That ancient gigantic T-Rex
To scare in those nightmares of the dark

Rides on that famous dinosaur
Children of the damned
Feeling bizarrely excited and strangely glad

Assuming nothing going to go wrong
There being nothing scary or bad
About taming the devil's dragon

Meet the legendary Pinhead here
As you face your brutal killer fears
Your time in happy heaven done here

Travel throughout the tunnels of hell
Have the devil weave his wicked spell
Your time not yet done in hell

Tunnels featured in Hellraiser: Hellbound
A film graphic and profound
Its content true to life and death

Have the devil dial your home number
You to be on the ship of fools
Sailing on the stormy sea going under

Pray as you see your blood
Knowing the evil you caused
When you stole love

'Free tickets to hell! '
'Free tickets to hell! '
Now the Ticketmaster

Knows you suffer as well
The devil teaching vital lessons
With his neverending wicked spell

The ticketmaster doing the devil's work well
Seeing evil adults and children in hell
Their evil to never attract but instead repel

Lessons time does tell
The otherside mysterious
Learning lessons deeply serious.
