Thunderous Memories Poem by David Riecke

Thunderous Memories

With all the rain, the thunder, and lightning,
The silence deepens and becomes so frightening.
From the creaks and cracks and that whooshing sound,
The thunderstorm has come around.

A peaceful calm, it brings to me,
Crashing, shaking, and breaking free.
Stress is gone, finally,
Peaceful sleep, comes to me.

Dreams of you, flooding in,
Something new, on the horizon.
Grandma i miss you, and grandpa too.
I havent a clue, what i'd do,
If i never had you....

I miss you guys,
and love you too!
