Three In The Morning Sounds So Sweet. Poem by Raihan Ahmed

Three In The Morning Sounds So Sweet.

sensistar fill my veins, I scurry with thoughts of an assasin, where did humanity go? I look on the skyline of a plethora of lights, where did it go? blind myself with dreams of a tuned guitar, a hamlet of iced hearts, these friday night lights burn so brightly. those meteors never came, lost over the milky way, or playing tag on the moon, hopefully in her imagination sounding her to sleep. I stared at the darkness, is it out there? does a caged bird breathe? never. and getting by is my forte, a cliche of words, but ones to live by. prolong your love and place it in lights, immortalize your faith. i'm crumbling beneath the ocean, reaching for the sky, maybe that north star will guide my sways.
