Thousands Of Miles Away Poem by Taasvinie Nahenthran

Thousands Of Miles Away

Looking into those eyes,
Why do I feel the world so wide?
Those deep breaths each time,
Melts me away like frozen ice.

Baby,
Caressing your soft and silky hair,
Hard times with you, how do I bare?
That oil coated nose of yours,
I wish I could bite it once more.

Will I get a chance to taste the cherry lips?
Will I get to bite and pull those lips into mine again?
Will I get to invade my tongue and taste yours again?
Or will I get to wet them with mine again?

Baby,
I know this distance keeps you away from everything.
Tell me that thousands of miles doesn't mean anything.
