I stare into the sky
Gazing into the dark abyss
Night is upon us
Nothing but darkness
Dotted with small shiny stars

I always wonder
What's beyond the darkness
Emptiness perhaps
Or a brave new world
There has to be more to it

I need to find it out
Discover what's kept out
In the deepest of night
Behind the dark skies
Behind the shroud

I think i may know how
To discover the secrets
That lies within the blackness
I think i simply
Have to die
