This Pain Poem by Layla Vaughn

This Pain

Rating: 3.5

Did you know, I went to visit your parents today?
As usual, as soon as they saw me, they shut the door.
They think that it's my fault
I suppose it is.
I should've asked if you were ok.
I should've made sure you got home safe,
but I didn't because of a stupid book.
And now, now I get to stand at this empty grave,
and weep.
weep for our lost love, weep for the face i'll never see again.
